he school is intentional about encouraging each student to consider capitalizing on their music education at our school by preparing even for examinations towards certification through the prestigious Trinity College of London, England, and the Music Teachers Association of California. Which is why the European School of Music & Art has consciously aligned its standard curriculum to that of the Trinity College of London, and is the only music school in Southern California that has such a partnership with the Trinity College of London.
Ultimately, enthusiastic and disciplined students are prepared and registered for examinations towards certificates (for lower grades) and diplomas (for higher grades) through Trinity College of London, as well as examinations for Certificate of Merit, sponsored by the Music Teachers Association of California.
These examinations are, obviously, based on levels of advancement that require certain proficiency. Nevertheless, any student can be a potential candidate if he/she works hard enough.
What is especially exciting about these certification opportunities with Trinity College of London is the fact that certifications for the more advanced levels can be counted as credits toward high-school diploma, or even college degree.
